Maldivian Launches $399 Bangkok Flights for July Holidays

Maldivian, the national airline, has launched a special promotional fare for travel to Bangkok, Thailand, timed for the upcoming July holidays. The discounted round-trip tickets, starting at USD 399, will be available from July 12 to August 2. The fare includes a 25-kilogram baggage allowance. Flights will operate weekly on Sundays, departing from Malé at 11:00 a.m. and returning from Bangkok at 6:40 p.m. Bookings for the seasonal route are now open. This initiative follows the airline's established strategy of introducing dedicated international flights during peak vacation periods. In January, Maldivian ran similar operations to Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Those flights proved highly popular, carrying over 2,120 passengers. Annually, the airline adjusts its domestic and international flight schedules to accommodate increased travel demand during school holidays and recognized vacation times. This latest promotion aims to provide affordable travel options for Maldivians seeking a holiday abroad.
