The Criminal Court has released on bail a 24-year-old man facing four charges, including rioting, intimidation, criminal coercion and unlawful detention of persons. The court ordered his release yesterday after noting this was his first alleged offence and the first entry in the prison log. The court also reviewed the circumstances of the case before granting bail. As conditions of his release, the man's passport and travel documents are being held, and he has been barred from leaving the island.
