Maumoon Foundation awards higher education scholarship to IUM student

The Maumoon Foundation has awarded a higher education scholarship to Muhammad Shan Ahmed, a student of the Islamic University of the Maldives (IUM). The scholarship, presented by Vice Chairman Ahmad Faris Maumoon, will support Shan in completing the university's 'Master of Islamic Revealed Knowledge, Leadership and Administration' course. According to the foundation, the selection process for the scholarship was conducted independently by the Islamic University. The scholarship covers all expenses including tuition fees, books, allowances for academic conferences, and a monthly stipend. Last year, the foundation also awarded a scholarship to a student enrolled in the 'Master of Arts in Quranic Studies' course. At the handover ceremony, Faris Maumoon expressed the foundation's joy in working with an institution like IUM that enjoys public trust. IUM Vice Chancellor Dr. Ali Zahir confirmed that the university carried out the candidate selection with full independence and fairness, and wished the Maumoon Foundation continued success.
