MDP MP Maaz Saeed Questions Loyalty of Security Forces, Vows Prosecution After Government Change

Politics ·
Ahmed Saeem (Maaz Saeed), a member of the People's Majlis of the Maldivian Democratic Party, has questioned the loyalty of the Maldives National Defence Force and the Maldives Police Service, accusing them of remaining passive while the country's sovereignty and independence are being lost. Speaking at an emergency event held on Thursday night under the name "Dhivehiyin Bin Dhivehiynnathu" (The Land of the Dhivehis for the Dhivehis), Maaz Saeed claimed that the Rasmalé project is being used to settle Zionists in the middle of the country and enslave the nation. He stated that once the government changes, the heads of the military and police will be brought before the judiciary and punished accordingly. Maaz Saeed alleged that the Maldives is losing its sovereignty due to money and bribery, and warned that citizens will no longer ignore these crimes.
