MPs Call for Teachers to Be Highest-Paid Government Employees on Every Island

Members of the People's Majlis have stated that teachers must be paid the highest salary given to any government employee on an island. The remarks came during a debate on a bill submitted by Independent Member Anara Naaim, which includes amendments to the Education Law such as the home-schooling system.
