New Directors Appointed to Maldives Airports Company and Addu International Airport

Ahmed Naseef joins the leadership of MACL, the nation's primary airport operator. MACL is responsible for the management of Velana International Airport, the Maldives' main gateway, and plays a critical role in driving the strategic development of the aviation sector to accommodate growing tourist and local traffic. Simultaneously, Sherina Solih has been appointed to the board of Addu International Airports Pvt Ltd. Established in 2012, this entity is tasked with the development and operation of Gan International Airport. The company focuses on maintaining Gan as a vital international gateway in the southern region, managing its various ancillary facilities to boost regional connectivity.
