New GP Clinic to Open in Amaan Udhares Tower Six Under FDC and Hulhumale' Hospital Agreement

Hulhumale' Hospital and Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FDC) have signed an agreement to establish a general practice (GP) clinic in Amaan Udhares Tower Six, located in Phase II of Hulhumale'. The densely populated area currently lacks sufficient access to essential health services. The new clinic aims to bridge this gap by offering vaccination, child weight monitoring, and counseling services, according to Male’ City Group of Hospitals (MCGH) CEO Ibrahim Abdul Razzaq Haleem. At the signing ceremony, Haleem emphasized the clinic's benefits, stating that residents will no longer need to visit hospitals for GP services and can instead receive care locally. This initiative is part of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu’s plan to establish six GP clinics across the city, with work on a clinic in Henveiru also underway.
