New Maldives Ambassador Adam Shareef Presents Credentials to Qatar's Emir

Adam Shareef Umar, the newly appointed Maldives Ambassador to Qatar, has formally presented his Letter of Credence to the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, during a ceremony at Lusail Palace in Doha.
Following the presentation, Ambassador Shareef conveyed official greetings and best wishes from President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, the Maldivian government, and the people of the Maldives to the Emir and the citizens of Qatar.
During the audience, the Ambassador expressed gratitude for Qatar's consistent support of Maldivian development projects. He reaffirmed the Maldives' commitment to enhancing bilateral ties, noting that both nations aim to deepen cooperation through increased high-level engagement and strategic collaboration in areas of shared interest.
Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani congratulated Ambassador Shareef on his appointment and expressed his confidence that the diplomatic relationship between the two nations would continue to flourish during the Ambassador's tenure.
Expressing his honor in representing the Maldives in Doha, Ambassador Shareef pledged to work toward strengthening the longstanding friendship and existing cooperation between the two countries.
The ceremony was attended by Mohamed Thahseen, the Second Secretary at the Embassy of the Republic of Maldives in the State of Qatar.
