New Radiant match is Odhi's first big challenge, says coach Teia

Odhi Sports Club coach Luciano Teia has said that Thursday night's Dhiraagu Dhivehi Premier League match against New Radiant Sports Club will be his first big challenge and a difficult, different test.
Teia, an Argentine UEFA Pro Licence coach who previously played for Victory Sports Club in the Maldives, returned to the country as a coach and took charge of Odhi at the end of last month.
In his first match in charge, Odhi defeated Gafu Recreation Club with a 0-4 scoreline. However, because Gafu is a club newly playing in the Dhivehi League this season and has not won so far, and considering Odhi's level, that match could not establish Teia's level as a coach.
When asked by PSM News whether the New Radiant match was his true first challenge, Teia said: "Yes. (This is a match that will be the first big challenge). This will be a very different match. New Radiant is a big team. There is a very good coach with that team. They have very high-quality players. But we will work to play in our style. I like offensive football. I like a game in which we push forward. But the result we want from this match can only be obtained by every player giving 100 percent."
Both teams have played three matches in the league so far. Odhi have won two and lost one, against Maziya Sports and Recreation. With six points, they are currently fourth in the league table. New Radiant have won two and drawn one, away in Dhidhoo. They are in third place with seven points.
