New Radiant vs Buru League Match Postponed Due to Heavy Rain

The Dhiraagu Dhivehi Premier League match between New Radiant Sports Club and Buru Sports Club has been postponed due to heavy rain that left the pitch waterlogged at the Galolhu National Stadium. The Football Association of Maldives (FAM) announced the postponement and stated that a new date for the fixture will be announced later. This would have been the fifth league match of the season for both teams. New Radiant had played four matches prior, recording two wins and two draws for a total of eight points. Buru had also played four matches, winning one (against Gahdhoo Recreation Club) and losing three, earning three points. Buru finished fourth in the league last season.
