No team can be taken lightly, Maziya must get result against TC: Trucher

Maziya Sports and Recreation Club coach Thomas Trucher has said that no team can be taken lightly in the Dhivehi Premier League and that it is essential for Maziya to get a result against TC Sports Club. Maziya, who have been successful in the country’s league over the past five years, have won only one of their three league matches so far this season. They won their first match against Oddi Sports Club, lost to New Radiant Sports Club, and drew their most recent match against Victory Sports Club. Speaking at the pre-match press conference, the Czech coach said pressure exists but he will not worry about it. “I have been working in football for a very long time. Every match is a match with pressure for us. We want to win every match as well. We have to get a result, and I accept that too. The matches ahead are also important to change the situation. But football is not something that I have to play under emergency conditions. The experience gained from a match must be a feeling of happiness. In training too, the players must work with peace of mind. Along with that, they must work for the result. We are improving things, and especially I am getting to know the team better,” Trucher said. Trucher said he had looked into Maziya before coming to the club and knew it was a team that had been winning success, with many national team players and many talented players. “Even before coming to Maziya, I looked into things properly. I know that Maziya is a team that has been winning success. I know that Maziya is a team with many players from the national team, and also with many talented players. But even if that is the case, we must also pay attention to the way the other teams think. Those teams will not want Maziya to win every match. What we have to do is continue with the work we are doing,” he said. He also said that the upcoming match and any other match could not be taken lightly, and that this is clearly seen in the league. “I always tell the players that underestimating any team is not something that can be done. We need to think about other clubs as well. There is no place in this league where you can take things easily. I am always saying that,” Trucher said. Maziya’s match against TC Sports Club is scheduled to start at 4:00 this afternoon.
