Odi and Eagles play out goalless draw in Dhivehi Premier League

The Dhiraagu Dhivehi Premier League match between Odi Sports Club and Club Eagles ended in a 0-0 draw on Wednesday evening. Played under heavy rain for much of the game, the contest saw few clear-cut chances. Odi's Ahuzam Rasheed (Ahu) had two dangerous attempts, with one early shot saved by Eagles' Pakistani goalkeeper Saqib Hanif. Despite Odi creating more pressure in the second half, neither side could break the deadlock. The result leaves Club Eagles in second place with 11 points from five matches, still unbeaten. Odi Sports Club remain fourth with eight points from five games. Victory Sports Club top the table with 13 points from five matches, while Maziya Sports and Recreation are third. New Radiant Sports Club have a chance to move level on points with Eagles if they beat Buru Sports Club later tonight.
