Ooredoo Maldives has marked its 21st anniversary with the launch of AirFiber ChildSafe, a parental control service designed to help families secure their children's digital experiences. Available to 5G AirFiber customers, the service enables parents to monitor internet usage and implement security features on broadband devices. To celebrate the milestone, the service will be provided free of charge until the end of August. During the anniversary announcement, Ooredoo Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Shadi Qawasmi emphasized that the company's growth is rooted in customer trust. He stated that Ooredoo is committed to fostering a safe 'Digital Maldives' by introducing innovative resources that protect and empower users. Alongside the new safety service, the telecommunications provider introduced several promotional offers. Truecaller Premium is now available as a billed service through Ooredoo Holhuashi, allowing users to block spam and scam calls without needing a separate payment method. Additionally, both prepaid and postpaid customers will receive 21 GB of free data for one day on August 1 via the Ooredoo Super App. For those using the Super App for recharges of USD 26 or more, MasterCard customers are eligible for a prize draw offering return flights to Dhaka and Malaysia. The company also unveiled 'Supernet Club Premier,' offering customers higher internet speeds at their existing plan prices for the first three months, as well as a 21 GB add-on for USD 1.36. The first 100 customers to switch to Club Premier will receive a USD 6.5 Huopan voucher. In further celebrations, Ooredoo announced Misriyya Ali as the grand prize winner of the Live Unlimited campaign, who will receive a trip for Hajj. The festivities will culminate with the annual Ooredoo Fun Run, scheduled to take place in Hulhumalé on August 11.
