Local News ·
The Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FDC) has revealed that it has received more than 6,000 complaints from residents of its flats in Hulhumalé Phase 2, specifically the Amaan Uddhares and Amaan Dooni Towers. The corporation disclosed the figures on Wednesday, stating that a total of 6,917 complaints have been reported through its portal, email, and reception desk since the flats became occupied. Of these, 6,128 complaints have been resolved, leaving 789 pending. According to FDC, the most common complaints include water leakage, building maintenance issues, difficulties with the online payment portal and updating information, requests for modifications to apartments, noise disturbances, and lift maintenance problems. The corporation added that its teams are currently working to resolve the remaining complaints. Meanwhile, earlier this month, FDC ordered the eviction of two flats that had regularly defaulted on payments. However, the corporation later confirmed that the tenants have resumed payments for those two apartments.
