Palestinian Justice Tests Global Resolve, Says Maldives Foreign Minister

Maldives Foreign Minister Dr Abdulla Khaleel has declared that justice for Palestine remains a crucial measure of the international community's credibility. Speaking at the Doha Forum 2025's High-Level Ministerial session on upholding international justice systems, he emphasized that global justice mechanisms must apply equally to all nations.
In his address titled "Upholding International Justice Systems and the Rule of Law," the minister stated that the Palestinian humanitarian crisis represents a fundamental challenge to the world's commitment to protecting civilians. "Justice delayed in Palestine is justice denied," he told the gathering of international ministers and experts in Qatar's capital.
The Foreign Minister reinforced that as a small island nation, the Maldives remains firmly dedicated to principled diplomacy and the integrity of international justice systems. He stressed that meaningful global dialogue and cooperation are essential for maintaining impartial and consistent justice worldwide.
Dr Khaleel expressed appreciation for the productive discussions with fellow ministers and experts during the roundtable session. He noted the importance of strengthening the Maldives' engagement on international platforms addressing critical global justice issues. The minister's remarks highlighted the nation's ongoing commitment to advocating for justice and humanitarian principles on the world stage.
