Parliament debates petition against BA Council rule requiring in-person exams for online law degrees

The People's Majlis today began debating a petition submitted by a group of students expressing concern over a change in the Bar Council's regulation that will require all law degree examinations to be taken in person at the higher education institution, starting from January 1, 2027. The students argue that the rule change, which affects online courses, is unfair and have called on the parliament to address their concerns.
