PCB Appoints New Board Members to Four Key State-Owned Enterprises

The Privatisation and Corporatisation Board (PCB) has appointed new members to the Boards of Directors of four prominent state-owned enterprises, as part of a broader effort to enhance corporate oversight. The appointments target a diverse range of sectors, including aviation, housing, and religious services. Abdulla Yameen has been appointed to the board of the Maldives Hajj Corporation, while Maeesha Ibrahim joins the Housing Development Corporation (HDC). Additionally, Shahid Moosa has been named to the board of Island Aviation Services Limited, and Ahmed Mazin has been appointed to the Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FDC). According to the government, these strategic appointments are designed to strengthen the management and governance frameworks of state-owned companies.
