Police Club to face Military in National Volleyball Final

The Police Club has secured a spot in the final of the Gaumee Volleyball Championship, organised by the Volleyball Association of Maldives (VAM). In the third semi-final match played last night at the Youth Centre Indoor Court, Police defeated HDC 3-1 (24-26, 21-25, 25-20, 18-25). The Police Club will now face the Military (Sifain) in the final. The Military advanced to the final after winning the first semi-final. HDC reached the semi-final after MTCC withdrew from the second semi-final due to an unresolved issue regarding an ITC agreement for players. The final match is scheduled for tonight at 8:30 pm. During last night's match, HDC player Ismail Sajid (Kidhakatte) suffered an injury.
