Police Respond to Sinking Supply Boat Near Fuvahmulah City

A supply boat named 'Raastha' heading to Fuvahmulah City has started sinking approximately 12 nautical miles from the island, prompting a response from the Maldives Police Service. The police stated on Wednesday that they received a report from the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) at 15:08 hours. The vessel was carrying four Maldivians and one foreigner. Police are working to provide necessary assistance to the boat and its crew.
