President Muizzu Affirms National Service as Foundation for Youth Development

In a social media post on Thursday, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu stated that the Maldivian national service program will serve as a solid foundation to shape the future of the country's youth. His comments came as the fourth batch of the basic training program commenced with 352 participants. The training, held at the MNDF Composite Training Center in L. Maafilaafushi, will run for 14 weeks. The participants include 288 male and 64 female students from 20 atolls and 125 islands across the Maldives. President Muizzu also extended his wishes for success to the participants and urged them to work with courage and discipline to complete the program. He emphasized that the government's efforts to build a generation of patriotic and responsible youth will, with God's help, become a solid foundation for the nation's young people.
