President Muizzu and Turkish Delegation Explore New Tourism and Trade Partnerships

President Mohamed Muizzu and a high-level delegation from Türkiye’s ruling Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi (AK Party) met at the official residence, Mulee’aage, to discuss strategic expansions in tourism, trade, and cultural cooperation. The discussions were led by AK Party Deputy Chairman Hüseyin Yayman, focusing on the longstanding diplomatic relationship between the two nations. Both parties explored concrete ways to strengthen economic ties, with a particular emphasis on leveraging the Maldives' tourism sector and expanding trade opportunities with the Turkish market. Beyond economics, the talks highlighted the potential for greater cultural exchange programs.
