President Muizzu Condoles Death of Former Malaysian First Lady Siti Hasmah

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has extended his deepest condolences to former Malaysian Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad following the passing of his wife, Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali. In a formal message to Dr Mahathir, President Muizzu expressed profound sadness over the loss of Dr Siti Hasmah, recognizing her as a pioneering figure in Malaysia's medical history. As one of the nation's first female doctors, she played a pivotal role in advancing maternal health and improving the lives of women in rural communities. The President further highlighted her enduring legacy in the promotion of gender equality and family welfare.
