President Muizzu: Goal of Next Year's Budget is to Complete 70% of Assigned Projects

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has stated that the main objective of the proposed state budget for next year is to complete 70 percent of the projects currently assigned by the government and deliver their benefits to the citizens. Speaking on the 'Nation Chat' program, the President said that during his term he worked to reduce the country's debt, improve the credit rating, and ensure future projects proceed without interruption. He highlighted that when presenting next year's budget to the People's Majlis, the focus will be on completing ongoing unfinished projects rather than launching new ones. The President also noted that strict policies to reduce expenses will be visible in next year's budget, along with efforts to reduce the budget deficit and strengthen fiscal responsibility.
