President Muizzu Launches New Website as Falah Preschool Marks 50th Anniversary

World ·
President Dr Mohamed Muizzu officially inaugurated the new website for Falah Preschool, marking a digital milestone for the early childhood education center. The launch coincided with a special ceremony celebrating the school's 50th anniversary, where the President served as the chief guest. During the event, a commemorative plaque was unveiled in honor of the President's visit. The ceremony also served as a moment of recognition for the school's long-term contributors, with commemorative plaques presented to staff members who have dedicated more than a decade of service to the institution. Additionally, certificates were awarded to the designers of the school’s official logo. Addressing the gathering, Falah Preschool Chief Executive Al-Qari Al-Hafiz Abdul Sattar Aboobakuru expressed gratitude to the individuals and organizations whose support has driven the school's growth over the past five decades. Falah Preschool operates under the auspices of Jamiyyathul Falah, an independent association founded in 1961 by the late Aboobakuru Ibrahim. The association's mission to promote religious awareness among Maldivians led to the establishment of Madhrasathul Falah on January 20, 1976. As the institution evolved to focus on early childhood development, it was officially renamed Falah Preschool on December 23, 2001. From its humble beginnings with a small cohort of students, the school has grown into a comprehensive facility offering nursery and baby nursery classes across two shifts. To ensure high standards of learning, the school utilizes modern educational resources and provides continuous training for its faculty to keep pace with evolving pedagogical needs. Since 2015, Falah Preschool has fully integrated the national curriculum into its teaching programs, ensuring students are prepared for the next stages of their formal education.
