President Muizzu meets Speaker of Pakistan National Assembly

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu met with Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, at a courtesy call, the President's Office has said. The meeting focused on the close ties between the parliaments of the two countries, according to the President's Office. Speaking on behalf of the people and members of the Pakistani parliament, Speaker Sadiq extended a warm welcome to President Muizzu. He expressed his satisfaction at being able to host the President following a long gap since his last visit to Pakistan. President Muizzu stated that this visit is aimed at renewing previous ties and establishing a relationship that will yield mutually beneficial outcomes for the people of both countries in the future. He also noted Pakistan's key role in the Maldives' development.
