During the briefing, President Muizzu actively engaged in discussions focused on advancing debt-for-climate and debt-for-nature initiatives, strengthening green finance partnerships, and improving climate financing access for Small Island Developing States. He emphasized the urgent financial requirements of vulnerable island nations like the Maldives and outlined practical pathways to enhance international cooperation for climate-resilient development through private investment.
