Russia Presents Evidence of Ukrainian Drone Attack on Putin's Residence to US

Politics ·
Russia has handed over what it claims to be evidence of a Ukrainian drone attack targeting a Russian presidential residence to the United States. Admiral Igor Kostyukov, head of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of Russia's Armed Forces, presented a part of a Ukrainian drone to a US military attaché in Moscow. The drone's navigation controller reportedly contained data confirming the attack on President Vladimir Putin's residence in Russia's Novgorod region. Moscow accused Kiev of launching 91 long-range attack drones in an attempt to strike the residence on Monday. Russia also stated it would reconsider its negotiating position in ongoing talks with the US regarding the Ukraine war. Ukraine and Western nations have disputed Russia's account of the incident. US President Donald Trump acknowledged Russia's claims, stating that Putin informed him of the alleged attack and expressed anger over it.
