Sa’aadha Ibrahim Appointed Chairperson of Maldives Transport and Contracting Company

The Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has announced the appointment of Sa’aadha Ibrahim as its new Chairperson and a member of the Board of Directors. Ms. Ibrahim takes over the leadership role from Mohamed Afeef Hussain, who previously served as the company's Chairperson. Mr. Hussain has transitioned to a new leadership role within the state-owned enterprise sector, having been appointed as the Managing Director of Fenaka Corporation Limited. As the Maldives’ largest civil and marine contractor, MTCC occupies a critical position in the nation's development strategy. The company is a primary provider of transport services and has spent over four decades establishing the country's core infrastructure. MTCC continues to be a primary driver of economic growth, spearheading major construction, dredging, and connectivity projects across the archipelago.
