Saudi Arabia has launched its annual Ramadan program in the Maldives, an initiative implemented yearly under the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. The program was officially inaugurated by Yahya bin Hassan Al-Qahtani, the Saudi Ambassador to the Maldives, at a ceremony attended by Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed, Minister of Islamic Affairs, and senior officials from both countries. The initiative, supervised by Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, is part of a global Ramadan assistance program funded by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. It supports iftar distribution and religious activities in Muslim communities worldwide. This year's program will distribute Ramadan iftar meals across various parts of the Maldives, reinforcing the strong ties between the two nations and Saudi Arabia's commitment to Islamic solidarity and humanitarian cooperation.
