Saudi Embassy Inaugurates Ramadan Iftar Initiative in Maldives

Politics ·
Saudi Arabia has launched its annual Ramadan program in the Maldives, an initiative implemented every year under the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. The program was officially inaugurated by the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to the Maldives, Yahya bin Hassan Al-Qahtani, at a ceremony attended by Maldives Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed and senior officials from both countries. The initiative is part of a global Ramadan assistance program funded by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the official title of the King of Saudi Arabia, which supports iftar distribution and religious activities in Muslim communities worldwide. This year’s program will distribute Ramadan iftar meals across various parts of the Maldives, enhancing Islamic solidarity and strengthening ties between the two nations.
