Shakeeb Appointed as Managing Director of Public Service Media (PSM)

Shakeeb, the host of President Muizzu's podcast, has been appointed as the Managing Director of Public Service Media (PSM). The announcement was made by the Privatization Board, and Shakeeb assumed the position today. Previously, Ibrahim Nasreen held the position until November 29, when he was appointed as Deputy Minister of the Youth Ministry. Shakeeb is known for hosting the podcast "With the People" and has previously held various government positions. Over the past two years, he has served as a senior management director at PSM. Nasreen was appointed as Deputy Minister following the appointment of Zina Zahir, who took office in August 2024, and was succeeded by Mohamed Saeed in December 2024.
