Special Parliament Session Scheduled for 2027 State Budget Presentation

A special session of the People's Majlis has been scheduled for tomorrow to present the proposed state budget for the year 2027. Speaker Abdurrahim Abdullah announced the session at the conclusion of today's proceedings, stating it will commence at 1:30 pm. According to the law, the proposed state budget for the coming year must be presented to the Majlis two months before the end of the year. The budget will be passed following discussions in the full Majlis and committee stages, along with any amendments introduced by the parliament. The Finance Ministry is currently working on preparing the medium-term budget proposed from next year until 2029.
