Tamil Star Anita Sampath's Fourth Group Tour to Maldives Ends on a High Note

Indian group travel organiser The Tourist 360 has successfully concluded the fourth edition of its 'Travel with Anita Sampath' tour in the Maldives, featuring Tamil cinema and TV actress Anita Sampath. The trip, held from October 15 to 18, brought together 28 tourists from Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karnataka for a four-day holiday in the Maldives, according to a report by The Print. The group stayed at a hotel in K. Maafushi for three nights. Participants explored Maafushi, swam with sharks at Shark Bay, went night fishing at sunset and enjoyed a barbecue night, among other activities. The package was offered at Rs 34,500 per person, excluding flight tickets, and covered meals, transport and all activities. Digital content creators Village Database and Puducherry-based social media influencer Sujee Venkatesan also joined the trip, sharing the Maldives' beauty and experiences with a wider audience through social media. The first edition of 'Travel with Anita Sampath' was held in October 2023 with 30 female participants. It was followed by tours with 38 participants in 2024 and 34 earlier this year, bringing the total number of travellers in the celebrity tour series to 130. The Tourist 360 said the trips, which offer the public a chance to travel abroad in a group alongside popular artists, have received an enthusiastic response, and said more such trips are being planned.
