Operating from the Maagiri Hotel, the clinic allows applicants to complete essential biometric enrollment and document submission within the capital. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, this initiative eliminates the need for residents to travel overseas to fulfill these requirements, significantly reducing the logistical burden and cost for applicants. While the service is open to all travelers, it is primarily aimed at students preparing for higher education in the UK. The annual clinic serves as a critical bridge for those facing tight academic deadlines or urgent travel needs. VFS Global has advised all applicants to first submit their visa applications online via the official UK visa portal. Once the online application is complete, individuals must book a specific appointment date to visit the center for their biometric data and document handover.
