Th. Fivah Council Raises Alarm Over Halted Youth Center and Park Projects

Local News ·
The Fivah Island Council has expressed serious concern over the complete halt of construction work on the Youth Center and Park in Th. Fivah, stating that no progress has been made since the bidding process was completed. Speaking to Raajje TV, the Council revealed that the bidding for the Youth Center was conducted in October last year, yet no practical work has been carried out by the government since then. The only work completed so far is land clearing, with no further progress made to date. In addition to the Youth Center, the Park development on the island has also come to a complete standstill. The Council stated that relevant government departments have not provided any information regarding the reasons for the suspension, describing this lack of communication as a major obstacle to the island's development. Residents are reportedly concerned about the halt in work and the absence of clear information, with the Council emphasizing that the uninterrupted continuation of development projects is of utmost importance to the island's community. Furthermore, the Council has called for clarification on the fate of projects entrusted to Fenaka Corporation, which has now been transferred under MTC, and what will happen to the planned initiatives in Fivah.
