Thilafushi Waste to Be Managed by DP World: MPL Confirms

Efforts to address the significant waste management issues on Thilafushi are underway as Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) confirms plans to transfer waste management responsibilities to DP World. Despite the lack of formal communication from the government, MPL CEO Abdulla Yameen assured that initial steps have already been taken to collaborate with DP World. The move is seen as crucial to making Thilafushi a sustainable waste management hub in the region.
