Two Arrested in Kulhudhufushi City Over Illegal Operations

Two individuals have been arrested in Kulhudhufushi City for their involvement in illegal operations related to the possession and trade of prohibited items. The suspects, identified as Ali Yameen Hassan (23) and Ahmed Mohamed (29), were apprehended on December 31 following investigations into their activities. Ali Yameen Hassan was found in possession of prohibited items related to drug use, while Ahmed Mohamed was arrested for involvement in the trade of illegal substances. Authorities recovered 500 grams of illegal drugs and other related materials during their operations. Both individuals have been remanded in custody, with Ali Yameen Hassan detained for one day and Ahmed Mohamed for five days. The case is under further investigation.
