Two Arrested in R. Dhuvaafaru Narcotics Operation

Two individuals have been arrested in a narcotics operation conducted in R. Dhuvaafaru. The operation, carried out on the fourth day of this month, was a joint effort by the police and the Counter Narcotics Intelligence in Dhuvaafaru, targeting suspected drug trade and use in the area. Acting under a court order, authorities searched a house and discovered 65 sachets containing items suspected to be narcotics. The arrested individuals have been identified as Hajaraa Maaisaa Aali (26F) of R. Dhuvaafaru / Kabeelaa’ge, and Abdulla Ali (33M) of R. Dhuvaafaru / Draft Number 0235. Following a court hearing, Hajaraa Maaisaa Ali was ordered to be detained for seven days, while Abdulla Ali was ordered to be detained for 15 days. The police continue to investigate the case.
