Two Individuals Arrested in Connection with Drug Trafficking in Dhevvadhoo

Two individuals have been arrested in Dhevvadhoo on suspicion of involvement in drug trafficking. The suspects, identified as 28-year-old Mamnoon Zahir from Gaa Alif Dhevvadhoo and 34-year-old Aisha Moosa from GDh Thinadhoo, were apprehended following a police operation. Authorities acted on intelligence suggesting their involvement in transporting narcotics from Thinadhoo to Dhevvadhoo. During the operation, police seized items suspected to be drugs, including two cellophane packets and a rubber packet. The suspects have been remanded in custody for 30 days pending further investigation. The Dhevvadhoo Police Station is continuing its inquiries into the matter.
