International ·
A Ukrainian drone attack has damaged port infrastructure and a gas pipeline in a residential area of Tuapse, a Black Sea port city in Russia, according to regional authorities. No injuries were reported in the incident. Emergency crews were dispatched to repair the damage following the overnight attack. The regional administration stated that a port berth was damaged, and a gas pipeline in a residential area was also affected. Reports from Russian Telegram channels indicated that residents heard a series of explosions and witnessed a fire in one district. Tuapse is a key Black Sea outlet for Russian oil products and houses an export-oriented refinery operated by Rosneft. The port and refinery have been repeatedly targeted by Ukrainian drone attacks since the war began four years ago. Previous strikes have caused fires and disrupted operations at the facility. Russian authorities did not confirm whether the latest incident affected port operations.
