Vaikhalaadu Council Announces Quran Tilawat and Tajweed Webinar

Education ·
A committee working for the development of women in Vaikhalaadu and "Progress to a Quranic Lifestyle" have decided to hold a special online webinar. The Vaikhalaadu Council office announced that this webinar, titled "Quran Tilawat wa Tajweed Webinar 2026," will take place from November 15 to November 21. The seven-day training program will be conducted with sessions held every night from 7:45 to 9:45. The webinar is targeted at female and male participants aged 13 and above who are interested in the Holy Quran. A fee of 150 Rufiyaa will be charged from each participant as a registration fee for this program, which must be paid to the entity running the webinar. The total duration of the webinar is 14 hours. An official certificate of completion will be provided to all participants who complete the webinar on time. Additionally, to encourage participants, the committee has arranged to give each participant a cash prize of 100 Rufiyaa. The main content planned for the webinar includes all general rules of Quran Tajweed, Qira'at (recitations), and Maqamat (positions). It also includes explaining important styles to be followed while reciting and strong methods to encourage memorizing the Quran (Hifz). Furthermore, all important rules of the Shathbiyyah method of Riwayat Hafs 'an 'Asim will be taught, along with guidance on how to pay attention to Tafsir (interpretation) of the Quran. Since many lessons are scheduled within the 14 hours, no participant will have the opportunity to recite the Quran individually during live sessions. Instead, the council's announcement states that after the webinar ends, each participant must submit a recording of their Quran recitation, and feedback based on individual recitations will be provided. Opportunities for participation are open from November 5 to November 12 until 12:00 noon. The Vaikhalaadu Council has requested that before this deadline, the designated special Google Form be completed and submitted.
