Velaa Books Final Spot in Resort Super League; Vommuli to Face Sun Siyam Olhuveli in Semi-Final

The Maldives Resort Super League has its first finalist as Velaa Private Island Maldives secured a direct spot in the championship match. Velaa, the Noonu Atoll champion, dominated Baa Atoll champion Finolhu Seaside Maldives with a 12-4 aggregate victory to earn a place in the final. The semi-final will see Dhaalu Zone champion St. Regis Vommuli take on South Male Zone champion Sun Siyam Olhuveli. Vommuli advanced after defeating the defending champion and Ari Zone champion Conrad Maldives Rangali Island 8-5 on aggregate. After a 3-3 draw in the first leg, Vommuli won the second leg 5-2. Olhuveli secured their semi-final spot by beating North Male Zone champion Baros Maldives 7-2 on aggregate. The semi-final is scheduled for Tuesday, with the final set for Thursday. Both matches will be played at Sun Siyam Olhuveli.
