Water and Sewerage Services Commissioned for All 4,000 FDC Flats

Male’ Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) announced the commissioning of water and sewerage services for all 4,000 flats developed by Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FDC) under the former administration’s ‘Gedhoruveriya’ housing scheme. MWSC confirmed the completion of installation, testing, and commissioning of water and sewerage connections, as well as the water boosting system, across all flats. This milestone ensures that all units now have access to these essential services. The announcement comes amid increasing complaints about delays in the handover of FDC flats. President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has pledged that all keys will be distributed before the start of the next academic year on January 27.
