WIM Maldives Opens Applications for Professional and Career Women Awards 2026

Women in Management (WIM) Maldives, the Maldivian branch of Women in Management, has opened applications for the "Professional and Career Women Awards 2026" presented by the organisation. According to WIM Maldives, the opportunity to submit nominations for the award is now open to the public. The window opened yesterday and will remain open until the 25th of this month, and entries must be submitted online through a designated Google Form. WIM Maldives said that in addition to nominations submitted by other parties, eligible women also have the opportunity to apply for the award themselves. Speaking about the award, WIM Maldives President Minha Faiz Rashad said the Professional and Career Women Award is given to value and encourage the work of women working in the professional and employment sectors of the Maldives. She also described it as a gesture of appreciation for the services rendered to the nation and the community. This year's award will be presented in five main categories: the Career Award category, the Business Award category, the Professional category, the Special Award category, and the Corporate category. WIM is an international organisation that works to empower women. Its Maldivian branch was opened in September 2017, and since then WIM Maldives has been carrying out extensive work in the Maldives to empower women and to build their capacity in various fields. WIM Maldives said the ceremony to present this year's awards is scheduled to be held in December. However, the organisation said the specific date and venue of the ceremony will be announced later.
