Young Woman Remanded for 30 Days After Stabbing 64-Year-Old Lover

A young woman has been remanded in police custody for 30 days after being arrested for stabbing her 64-year-old lover in Male’ City. The incident occurred on Tuesday at a private residence and was reported to the police around 10:05 AM. Both the woman, 32, and the man sustained injuries, including a stab wound to the man’s back. According to police, the couple’s injuries resulted from a violent escalation of a lover’s quarrel. Both individuals were treated at the hospital. The woman appeared in court on Wednesday morning, where she was remanded for 30 days pending further investigation.
